Mother’s Day Gift Ideas

my favorite thing about mother’s day is hanging out on the patio sipping cocktails while my hubs barbecues.  that is the best gift I could get!  here are a few ideas if you need some inspiration.  everything I included in this post would be perfect for your mom, grandma, sister, best friend or anyone you know that’s a mama.   I wouldn’t mind receiving a few of these myself, actually.  Tim, are you reading this? 😉

 

1.  these soft, fuzzy slippers are so cute!  they are perfect for any hard working mama to slip on after a long day.
2. this hairdryer is definitely a splurge but it’s so worth it!  it dries your hair in record time without all the damage.
3. do you know any first time mama’s out there?  this necklace would make the best gift for her!
4. who doesn’t love a cozy robe?  I think I need this one for myself;)
5. you can never have enough cardigans!  this one is lightweight and perfect for spring and comes in a ton of colors.
6. sometimes, mom just need a glass of wine.  why not give her some cute wineglasses to drink out of?
7. just about everyone loves candles and who wouldn’t want a candle that smells like mimosas???
8. straw bags are a huge trend this year.  this pom pom bag is perfect for that trendy mama on your list!
9. silk pillowcases are a must!  they are anti-aging and are anti-bedhead.  sleep is a very valuable commodity to moms…especially new moms,  so this would make the sleep she is getting even better.
10. tassel earrings have been in style for a few seasons now.  I love that the tassels on these earrings are removable so you have 3 styles in 1!

happy sunday friends!  here are a few outfits I have worn lately that I have been loving!

I am all about a cozy cardigan and this one is the coziest!  since the weather where I live can’t make up its mind, cardi’s are what I have been wearing lately with basic and graphic tee’s.

speaking of graphic tees, why not wear a tee that represents your ‘hood?  this t shirt is one of my favorites!

If you know me at all, you know I love everything FreePeople.  I bought this top last year and i’m still loving it!  that’s what is so great about this brand.  the pieces are timeless and never go out of style.

you can never go wrong with camo pieces in your wardrobe.  I have had these pants for a few years now and they are still fabulous!  if you don’t have anything with a camo print in your closet, you should consider getting pants like these! ( I think these are sold out on line, but I did see them in store.)

I recently purchased this blazer and i’m so glad I did!  this is a piece that can dressed up or down.  I have my eye on this blazer right now and hope to add it to my wardrobe very soon.
