September Favorites

sept favs

can you believe September is over already?  time really does fly!  I didn’t have as many favorite’s this month as I thought I would, but here are a few that made the cut:)

dial and lips

L’Oreal Color Riche La Lacque Lip Color in Coco-Lacque and Dial Miracle Oil Restoring Body Wash

I cannot get enough of these two products.  I featured the L’Oreal lip color in my drugstore finds post.  if you missed it you can read about it here.  it is still my go-to everyday lip color.  im heading out to shop later today and I plan to pick up another color to try.  the Dial body wash is AH-mazing!  I am a sucker for any product that is infused with some sort of oil.  I first tried the hand soap version of this not knowing there was a body wash.  the smell is divine!  I suggest you try both the hand wash and the body wash.

NARS Blush in Orgasm

I have owned this cult favorite before and recently started using it again.  it is the perfect peachy-pink blush with a hint of shimmer.  it will go with just about any makeup look that you are going for.  it looks pretty intense in its package, but as you can see above, it swatches beautifully.

rose mask

Sephora Rose Eye Mask

Ok.  I’m going to be completely honest with you all.  i picked up two of these masks from Sephora.com, because i needed to spend 10 more $$$ to get free shipping.  don’t judge, you know you have done the same thing a time or two;) i picked up the rose mask and another that i cannot recall at the moment.  i am all about smells and i happen to love the smell of roses.  this mask does it for me.  i realllllllyyyy need help around my eye area.  i believe that is the first area that women show signs of aging. i used this mask as directed.  it claims to be ultra moisturizing and brightening.  i think it lived up to the hype.  Sephora offers 8 different types of these masks. i think i might pick up a few more the next time I’m in Sephora.

chocolate bar

Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette and Maybelline Color Tattoo 24 hr Cream Eyeshadow

i talked about my love for Maybelline’s color tattoo cream shadows in my drugstore finds post.  they truly are amazing and wear well.  right now at Ulta, they are buy one get one half off.  if you have been on the fence about trying them, now’s the time since they are on sale.

if you are looking for a new palette to try, i suggest trying the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette.

too faced

the colors are so beautiful and work so well with the color tattoo cream shadow.  there are 16 matte and shimmer shades that are antioxidant-rich cocoa infused.  you read right.  they are cocoa infused.  every time you open this palette, you get a whiff of hot chocolate.  i am not kidding!  I’m sniffing it right now…..and must go make myself a cup of hot coco:)

how was your Septemeber?  let me know what you couldn’t live without!

Rocksbox

rocksbox i have been subscribing to Rocksbox since march of this year.  i had seen that several people i follow on IG subscribing and getting amazing jewelry to wear.  i was intrigued.  i had tried subscriptions to Birchbox and Ipsy.  as i did enjoy those subscriptions, i found myself getting awesome makeup and beauty samples every time i ordered from Sephora.  i felt i no longer needed to pay $10 a month for those subscriptions.  i wanted to try something different.  so i signed up to receive Rocksbox.  i must say that i was pretty excited to receive my first box.

how it works:  you become a shine insider.  you take a style survey and add items to your jewelry wish list.  after you have completed the survey and add to your wish list, you will receive 3 pieces to wear based on your style and specific requests.  you get to wear them as much as you want!  when you are done with them, you return them and they send you 3 new pieces. easy peasy!  this is all for $19 per month.

what i love about their jewelry is that it is all designer:  Kendra Scott, Loren Hope, House of Harlow and gorjana just to name a few.  you also can send it back (postage paid) as often as you want.  sometimes i will keep my pieces for a couple of weeks and sometimes i send them back after a fews days.  it just depends on what i get and if i like it.

what if you just fall completely in love with a piece you received?  Well, you can buy any piece from your Rocksbox set.  each month you have $10 in Shine Spend to apply towards a purchase.  i have definitely done this a few times 🙂  you get a special insider’s price if you decide to buy.

if you love designer jewelry as much as i do you should definitely give Rocksbox a try!  use my invite code  angelabff203  to get a free month!

do you currently have a monthly subscription that you love?  i want to know!  i’m always looking for something new!

Do You Piko?

piko tops are one of the most amazing pieces of clothing ever invented.  in my opinion, of course.  i could seriously wear one every single day.  if you don’t know what a piko is, here’s the skinny:  they are oversized shirts made of bamboo and spandex.  they come in a ton of different colors and styles.  there’s even a piko sweater!  what!?!  since they are oversized, you might want to size down in them.  I normally wear large or x-large tops, but buy mediums in piko tops.

I probably  own at least 10 of these.  they are great to throw on with a pair of jeans or leggings.  they are very versatile; they can be dressed up or dressed down.  and the best part, you ask?  they can be bought here for a great price! only $20 for a piko top and $22 for a piko sweater.  this is a bargain if i do say so myself 🙂

did I mention , piko’s and bralette’s make a great combination?

do you own any piko tops?  I would love to know how you style them!
